About Fort Gymnastics Club (FGC)
Our goal is to give our children and youths social and physical growth in an encouraging and engaging experience.

FGC is a member club of the Alberta Gymnastics Federation (AGF)

We are a not-for-profit organization under the umbrella of the Fort Saskatchewan Minor Sports Association and the direction of an elected Volunteer Executive Board

We have a committed and dedicated group of trained and certified coaches to help teach and train our gymnasts

Our funding comes directly from your registration fees and fundraising efforts.

FGC uses your Email in combination with Uplifter as our key sources of communication. We will also post important information such as fundraisers, closures, registration dates and more on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Coach Kim was a competitive gymnast on the Canadian National team for Trampoline and Tumbling. Kim first started at FGC back in 2000 and has worked here almost continually since.
Kim was an amazingly talented competitor and as a coach, she uses her experience to teach the participants. Currently Kim is the director of coaching, and coaches JO4+. Over the years, Kim has taught every class that we offer at FGC! She is not just a certified coach, but a National Trampoline and Tumbling judge as well!!
When Kim is not working, she is usually volunteering, judging, or spending time with her beautiful family!

CoachMadi has been teaching at FGC for four years. She teaches a variety of programs including: "Dev C, Tot, Rec 1/2, Rec 3/4, Rec 5+, Boys Rec and Tiny Tots.
"I am a fourth year psychology student! I love playing sports, travelling the world, going snowboarding in the mountains and my golden doodle Olly!"
Ciara Bossert
CoachCiara teaches Tiny Tot, Tot, Rec 1/2 and Rec 3/4, Rec 5+ and Comp 2. Ciara will be one of our Summer Camp Coaches/Leaders this year! This will be her fourth year here!
"I am a fourth year Psychology student and will be pursing an after degree in elementary education. I have a golden doodle named Oliver and I LOVE cheering on the Edmonton Oilers!"
Silvia Trela
CoachSilvia teaches or subs for all the classes we offer. She has the privilege of watching most of the kiddos grow and progress through their younger years. Just a few of the classes she teaches are Parent and Tot, Tiny Tot, Tot, Jr Rec, Homeschool and the boys MAG program. If you do not recognize her from a registered program, then you probably met her during Drop-In or one of our special events! Silvia has been with FGC for nine years!
Jossyn Van Iderstine
Jr CoachThis is Jossyn first year helping coach at FGC. She has already gained experience in Tot, Jr Rec, Rec 1/2, Rec 3/4, Dev A, Dev B, CCP3, CCP4 and CCP6!
"I was a competitive gymnast for 11 years and competed in CCP 8/9. I love coaching competitive classes because I get to continue competitive gymnastics from a coach perspective!"

CoachThis will be our fourth year with Lexy at FGC. She coaches higher level rec programs, competitive programing, Boys' rec and rhythmic gymnastics!

Jr CoachWe've had the pleasure of working with Sophia for 2 years at our facility. She helps coach Tot and Rec classes.
"My name is Sophia and I am a student at Fort Saskatchewan High School! I used to compete for Fort Gymnastics Club and love sharing my knowledge with the athletes I coach."

CoachThis is the third year that Quinn has been at our gym. She teaches competitive programing; Dec C, CCP 1/2 and CCCP 2!
"I am in grade 10 at Ardrossan Jr/Sr High and I love to play volleyball."
Lily Rigters
CoachThis young lady has been with the gym since August of 2022. She coaches Tots, Jr Rec, Rec 1/2, Rec 3/4 and helps with competitive programs when needed.
"Hi, I'm Lily, I'm in grade 10, I'm from British Columbia. I used to train and compete at level 10 Gymnastics and i was a worlds Level 7 Cheerleader!"
